Motorola Solutions

Making AI messaging a priority
In late 2023, with our help, safety and security leader Motorola Solutions articulated an enterprise-wide promise for its work: Solving for safer. The company had legions of compelling stories and use cases about how its products delivered on this big idea, from devices to networks.
A year later, the company had made great strides in embedding artificial intelligence into its devices and platforms. But it needed a new frame that could link its broad promise with its products in the context of AI. Working in collaboration with technical leaders at the highest levels, we developed a powerful new messaging platform: priority intelligence.
The concept connects Motorola’s use of AI with mission-critical situations where it makes a significant impact, but also unfolds into a multi-layered philosophy of what AI is best suited to achieve within that setting.
That meant prioritizing human focus with AI, surfacing relevant contextual information so people can keep their attention on what’s important. It described prioritizing human effort, automating mundane tasks so people focus on mission-critical details. And it spoke to prioritizing human efficacy, balancing what people and AI agents do best to enable better results.
We built a comprehensive message map that articulated additional levels—how priority intelligence is delivered in a unique way, how it impacts key products, and most importantly, what customer benefits result.
Since its unveiling, priority intelligence has gained in prominence across multiple use cases and channels. The term has been woven seamlessly into the Motorola Solutions ecosystem narrative, adopted regularly by company leaders, and deployed within product announcements and thought leadership in both domestic and international settings.
